Setting an Example

In our home in Cebu, we have a lot of children in our family. Most of them are sons and daughters of my cousins. There is only one child from our very own family - my sister's son. Almost all of them are still very young; all are at grade school level. Having a bunch of kiddos at home makes you feel like crowded and noisy yet it is fun. I wonder how will they going to be when they grow up. As an older sister of these kids, I have to set as an example to them. As for them to grow with good moral and attitude, I have to do the same and watch over my actions. Like in studying, I have to show to them I am doing my assignment, projects, reading books and studying notes, and get some good grades to show to my parents. Being a good daughter is also crucial to be followed by them. I am doing the Filipino way of 'pagmamano' to my parents whenever I go out and arrive home and to our elders whenever we visit them or they are visiting us. I am helping my mother with the house

Nothing is Impossible

Believe it is possible to solve your problem. Tremendous things happen to the believer. So believe the answer will come. It will. - Norman Vincent Peale I saw this message from my table calendar for April 2012 and I was touched by it. It so hit me because right as of this writing, I am currently facing lots of trials - at home, at work and even at my personal and financial problems. I sometimes come to think of how will I get through all of this. It seems like all of them are happening at once and I can't take to handle them all. How will come to rest when at almost every area of me comes with problems? On his phrase, Norman seems to be alive for me - and a true friend for me. It is through his message, right there, I am able to stand up and bravely face all of these. With this, my belief in myself is regained. There is nothing impossible and there is no problem that cannot be solved. God is very faithful not to let us fall. For these problems are the means of making us s

Successful Life

In order to succeed in life, there are some challenges that we must go through. There are risks that will test our commitment in reaching our goals. And don't forget the people that will either help you take grab of that chance or take you down low. It is up to the person whether he is really willing to go far and farther than the best that he can be or give up in the middle of the quest. The journey towards our dream success takes a lot trials and failures. Yes, failures! Failures can also help us grow more mature by taking these failures as lessons and guides for the next level. Trials can be seen as a road block but take note that it will only testing our skills - just like from the name itself - trials. It doesn't entirely mean give up, there's no other way. It means let's see if you really want this and if you pass, you will be stronger ever and the next level is more challenging. Risks. Some people are afraid of taking risks or even by the word itself. The

Lot of Love

You cannot please everybody. There are also times that they sometimes talk something against you behind your back. You are neglected, you are forgotten. They don't even spare their time with you. They are busy with each other without tagging you along. I always see that scenario. But guess what, I don't really get affected. Though I admit before, I do but no longer feel it now. Ever wondered why? It is because I am a person showered with lots of love. My parents, my family, my real friends, my boyfriend, my church mates, and most especially my guardian Holy Spirit, my besty Jesus and my Daddy God. What can I ask for?

Touch of Lips

According to WordWeb dictionary, a kiss is a touch associated with the lips or presses the lips against someone's mouth or other body parts as an expression of love, greeting, etc. It can also refer to a light glancing touch. It can also be a chocolate or a cookie or any several candies. Since in the description of a simple word 'kiss' can have different meanings, we will only focus on the kiss associated with the "Touch of Lips". A kiss has been used as an expression of love to their boyfriend/girlfriends, family and friends. It can also be seen in a traditional practice of religion especially in Catholics where I see faithful followers kissing statue of their loving saints. This form of touch is a very powerful medium when it comes to showing appreciation, care and love. Somehow, I can also see this ‘kiss’ being used abusively. I ever wondered why there are a lot kind of kisses and how to perform it and to whom it should be given. French kiss, forehead kiss an

Long time no post

Its been months already since my last post. I am very busy still up to this day. I am barely surfing the internet. My Facebook wall is also boring. Hahayz.., Anyway, I am trying to make myself available in the next few days - or maybe weeks. I am really busy with something here. But I do promise that I will come back to blogging. It will be filled with more posts that ever before. So, stay tuned!

My typing speed?

This is a very common phrase that is widely used in technology nowadays especially for computer users. This is to measure how fast a person can type number of words in a given span of time. This is usually measured in the number of words generated per minute (WPM). I started typing when I was around nine years old with the use of typewriter. My father owns a typewriter, aside from the one he has on his office desk. He also has a portable typewriter that is very small where you can carry it around anywhere. I once used it when I was in high school for a school project. That was very useful indeed. Though that time computers are already avaiable, I still prefer to use the typewriter since it was easier. Also, I don't know yet how to use the computer. It was from then on that I practiced typing. And then eventually the speed increases. I remember one time I used to cover my hands positioned on the keyboard with a cloth and try to type a very famous pangram, a phrase that contains

I am too active today. Why?

This time, I find myself interrupting to many emails today like replying a personal message to a person I know and talk about anything else out of the topic he/she is sending (in business and personal emails). Why oh why?! So right at this moment, I tried to control myself and stop replying nonsense eventhough I really wanted to. Instead, I made this note. I hope this would help me fight my so-called obsession this day. I find myself annoying for other people who are busy working. I am not telling that I am not busy that is why I am bothering other people. I am indeed busy but I just can't stop myself. Oh, I did stop myself, temporarily though coz I am writing this. Hahaha What else I should do? It is still 4:30PM and we are now done for today's agenda and tomorrow's agenda is almost done. We are actually working on the day after tomorrow's work loads. Hahayz, I'd better continue working on 3 days ahead. That way, I can have a lot of free time in the future. I

Email Trail

An email trail is a discussion made via electronic mail It can sometimes be called as 'email thread' Every discussion is initiated from the first sender of the trail And on every email sent within that trail has a significant meaning Even if it is just a plain 'ok' There are long and short trails I can understand long email trails are difficult to trace But having a short trails is reasonable enough to read from the start Even only from the first or second previous mail sent Is it difficult to read just at least three mails previously sent? Just to keep up what was discussed on that email trail? Asking the same question that was already answered on the previous trail Will just make the discussion go round Can't they read it first before proceeding? P.S. My deepest apology for this. I am just pissed off with someone who just can't read emails properly. They just keep on asking and asking even though it is already discussed. Thus, making

Do I really have to worry?

I am not sure what I am going through now One big challenge in my life I'm not sure how to deal with A big opponent versus a plain simple me Tell me how can I win this battle? In this situation is what I see A Goliath versus David's story So horrible Goliath that everyone knows Fighting a small David that no one ever know What inspires me from this story is David has God who is WAY better that Goliath Sure thing the reason why David won the battle As Goliath falls down in just one stone I am seeing David in me with God as my best weapon A big challenge God has entrusted me I felt like God really trusted me a lot For He gave me this kind of challenge We all know God will never give us trials beyond our strength And if we feel losing, He will never fail to extend help I thank God for trusting me I trust Him, too, for helping me in my recent battle Do I really have to worry?

From blogspot to .com

Hello everyone! I had just migrated my blog from blogspot.com to .com I bought this domain from GoDaddy.com with a promo price of $3.13. Yes, you read it right! It's just $3.13 for one year! How did I get this promo? I was already a member of GoDaddy since last year but was never tempted to buy a domain worth more than $10 because it was too expensive for me. I am not a certified blogger nor an online seller to spend much for a .com domain. It was like a "lemme try this one" but never got a chance to. I just subscribed to their newsletter and promos and almost everyday I received from them. Sometimes, I find it irritating and it seems like they are sending spams. But one day, one interesting email caught my attention and there it goes, they have a promo selling domains for just $3.13. I quickly grab this opportunity and voila, there comes my www.iamroseanne.com domain. I am so happy coz I got this cheap domain for my blog! Thank you GoDaddy!!!

Working abroad? Asking help? Read this!

Working abroad is such a great dream. So when an opportunity comes, many people will surely take a step to grab it. Even though, for some, it will take lots money to invest. There are people who take brave steps to go abroad and find their luck. In spite of going there with no relatives or even a single friend in the foreign place, they still go forward for the sake of their respective families. How much more and greater opportunities will it be if you do have friends or relatives abroad? You can still make bold steps to take out of your comfort zone in our homeland and make way to working outside our country. STILL there are risks but having that someone we can lean on to when we step on the foreign land makes the burden go lesser. Relatives and/or friends that are currently working abroad extend help willingly to those who needs help finding their job opportunities on the same country they are staying. Common things they can give are place to stay, food and transportation guide aro

Favorite song - Eternal Flame

This is my all-time favorite song. I love this song ever since when I was in first year high school. I admit that during that time, I don’t really understand the meaning of the song but I really like the tune. It keeps on playing again and again on my MP3 player but still I can’t get enough of it. I even sing it in a karaoke bar. Now, let’s sing it together, Eternal Flame.

Five Love Languages

This month of February is called the month of love. Everywhere you can see decorations of hearts, cupids and couples kissing and/or showing affection to each other. This celebration in general is not only for lovers, sweethearts or boyfriends/girlfriends out there but also for everyone where we can show our love to them – and be loved in return. But how are we going to show our love that can surely make them happy? Let’s get to know their love languages. Language (lang-gwij) according to dictionary is a systematic means of communicating by the use of sounds or conventional symbols. The cognitive processes involved in producing and understanding linguistic communication and use to name things in a particular discipline. Love (lúv) again according to the dictionary is a strong positive emotion of regard and affection. Then what is this “love languages”? This is the form of expressing your love towards the other person. We have different love languages and as per Dr. Gary Chapman, there
