Philippines... Beauty Pageant Powerhouse
This year 2013 is indeed a very good year for the Philippines especially in the beauty pageants. Our representatives just take home FOUR crowns. Miss Supranational 2013 - Mutya Johanna Datul Miss World 2013 - Megan Young Miss International 2013 - Bea Rose Santiago Miss Tourism International 2013 - Angeli Dione Gomez Once again, we have proven to the whole world that Filipina got both beauty and brains, and that kind of aura that appeals to the people around the globe. This is not new for the Philippines to bag the crowns home, since 1969 we had already get known to the world by bagging our first ever Miss Universe crown by Ms. Gloria Diaz followed by Margie Moran in 1973. Today, I am looking forward for the next Filipina beauty to get the Miss Universe crown for the third time. Way to go, Philippines! Mabuhay!
